People
Oma loves meeting people, but has a hard time remembering things. Hopefully this'll help her remember who the bad guys are.

Other Known Factions and Groups
Aetherwrights (Ay-thur-right) - Freelancers, adventurers, mercenaries, traders, cargo haulers, you name it they do it. While they owe no allegiance to any particular nation they do tend to issue contracts for whatever nation their local guild is based in. This means a contract in Aethos could be for anyone: private citizen, business or the Aethosian government. While a contract in Eldora would be the same but potentially for the Eldoran government. Aetherwrights are not bound to any one guild and can take contracts anywhere.
The Ethereal Reserve - The home of all wealth in Aarkera. A neutral party whose only allegiance is to gold. It's location is a closely guarded secret that is known only to the rulers of the 4 great nations. The secret is kept in part due to a guarantee of mutually assured destruction. Should even one nations ruler let slip the location of The Reserve, all nations will be heavily sanctioned and temporarily cut off while the reserve sets up a new location. In all its years of existence, it's location has never been revealed and nobody has ever found it.
Free Skies Coalition (FSC) - Former freelance Aetherwrights who were fed up with performing contracts from the governments of Aarkera and tired of the fighting between nations over ownership of the skies. So, they banded together to form the FSC. They believe that the skies should be owned by no government from Aarkera and should instead be its own free nation. They make sky travel difficult for citizens of Aarkera. However, they generally leave regular people alone as long as they are not representing any nations.
Kindori Corsairs (Kin-door-ee) - Pirates, for lack of a better word. While the FSC wants to turn the skies into their own nation, the Kindori Corsairs are content to own nothing but their ship and take pleasure in accosting anyone that crosses their path.
Mistwrights - Inventors, tinkerers, and experts in all things Mistech. A Mistwright would be your first stop if your ship needed work.
Mistwardens - What happens to the unfortunate individuals unable to make it to safety during a mist storm? The Mistwardens risk both body and mind to rescue them. Wearing specially designed suits and masks The Mistwardens venture out during the beginning of a mist storm to ensure everyone has made it inside safely and if they haven't they try to get them inside quickly before corruption sets in. The protective gear they wear is bulky, cumbersome, and expensive (picture something similar to an old diving suit with the giant metal helmet) making it inefficient for use by most people. It also has a limited effectiveness. After 15 minutes of total exposure the gear must be disposed of as it no longer offers any protection. Mistwardens are honored and revered by all citizens of Aarkera.
Mistwalkers - While Mistwardens are called brave, Mistwalkers are seen as brave and foolish. A Mistwalkers mission is to explore the mists at the core of Aarkera. They are an eccentric and eclectic group that keeps to themselves. Whatever they've found in the mists, if anything at all, is known only to them.
